1. Register as couples for the BASS Leaders Seminar/Lunch program w/Dr. John Townsend and save!

Register ASAP for the BASS (Bay Area Sunday School) Convention Leaders Seminar/Lunch! Couples can register for just $39 for both, instead of paying $25 each! Space is limited to the first 150 who register!

BASS website - www.bassconvention.org

Dr. John Townsend will speak at the lunch program, the leaders seminar (two one hour sessions), and the general session that evening. Some of the doorprizes for the leaders lunch program include a free breakfast with Pastor Francis Chan on Sat morning, March 3 (Francis is our general session speaker on Sat am), a pair of Warriors tickets, and much more!

The BASS Convention is an incredible resource for churches offering over 300 workshops! General session speakers this year include Dr. Townsend (Thurs night), Pastor Paul Sheppard (Fri night), and Pastor Francis Chan (Sat am). Don Moen will be leading worship. BASS is one of the largest and most diverse gatherings of Christians in the Bay Area!

If you or anyone you know would be able and willing to help serve as a volunteer for BASS (the entire BASS ministry is conducted by volunteers, there are no paid staff for BASS!), please contact Judy Byford ASAP. Thanks!!

2. Missionary in Hong Kong seeks help for furlough in Bay Area this summer.

David Pardini is a missionary teaching at the China Baptist Theological College in Hong Kong. He is a personal friend that we have been supporting for many years. David will be on furlough in the Bay Area this coming summer. The following is from a recent email update from David. Please forward to others who may be able to help.
"Lord willing we will return to California on May 30th and begin reporting to churches on June 3rd. We are scheduled to be in 12 churches, June through August and are trying to set up meetings in two more.
We would appreciate your prayers as well as your suggestions for the following:
· A place or places for the two of us to stay through the summer (anywhere in the greater Bay area to Sacramento). Short or long house sitting opportunities would be very welcome, except July 22-Aug. 6.
· A place or room for our son, Steve, to stay in California where he can take courses at a junior college and look for a summer job (until mid-August).
· The use of a car for the two of us for our summer visits to California churches.
· The purchase or donation of a small, reliable car for Steve to use in the summer and later at school for his off-campus internship.
Thank you for remembering these furlough requests before our heavenly Father. If you have any possibilities in mind for above please contact us.

Yours in Christ,
Dave & Peggy Pardini
Mission Address: ABWE, P.O. Box 8585, Harrisburg PA 17105-8585"
